Different concentrations of ethanolic infusion of Mentha piperata foliages were tested against the grownup apteral females and 3rd instar nymphs of aphid Aphis gossypii overruning okra harvest. The LT50 values were observed to be 42.42, 24.97, 13.37hrs. for nymphs and 55.07, 46.25, 26.66hrs. for grownups severally at 1 % , 1.5 % and 2 % concentrations of M. piperata foliage extract.The figure of immature 1s produced after the spray of 1.00, 1.5, 2.0 % conc. after 48hrs,10.00, 8.00 and 5.00 as compared to 16.50 in control. All the apteral females died in 96 and 72hrs. after individual sprays of infusion at a concentration of 1.5 and 2 % severally.

Sampson et Al. ( 2005 ) has reported the insecticidal consequence of M.piperata against grownup of Lipaphis pseudobrasicae. Mumtaj et al..
